Announcement for the elections

of the doctoral students' representation of the RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau (Department of Computer Science)

The doctoral student representation of the RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau consists of one doctoral student per department. Each member of the doctoral student representation has a deputy who represents the member in case of absence.


The elections for the Computer Science Department will take place during the plenary meeting of the doctoral students of the department on Tuesday,30.06.2026 at 2 p.m. in room 34-420 of the Campus Kaiserslautern. Voting by proxy is not permitted.


The following election committee has been formed to conduct the election:


All doctoral students of the Computer Science Department accepted according to §34 paragraph 3 HochSchG RLP are eligible to vote and to be elected.


For the Computer Science Department one member and one deputy member of the doctoral student representation of the RPTU are elected.


For the election, each eligible voter can submit written or oral nominations to the election committee of his/her department until the beginning of the election. Persons entitled to vote may also nominate themselves. A nomination is only valid if the nominee declares to the election committee of his or her department that he or she agrees with his or her nomination.


Only those who are listed in the electoral roll can vote and be elected. The electoral roll can be examined in the dean’s office of the Computer Science Department until three days before the election. Doctoral students who consider the electoral roll to be incorrect or incomplete may apply for its correction orally or in text form to the presiding member of the electoral board within the display period.


Those entitled to vote must identify themselves on request by means of a valid identity card, travel passport, driver's license, student or employee ID.


The election shall be conducted by secret ballot using officially produced ballots provided in the voting room.
